Welcome to the Trafalgar library.
Our library is filled with an extensive collection of print books in both English and French. Whether you are looking for a reference book for a school project, a novel to curl up with during the long Montreal winter, or the latest issue of a magazine, come and visit! We are always happy to hear book purchase suggestions (or chat about books, movies and more).
These are our priorities:
-promote reading and literacy
-help Trafalgar students become thoughtful consumers and creators of print and digital content
-collaborate with teachers and students on academic and co-curricular projects (Makerspace activities are in development!)
We look forward to seeing you soon!
Traf’s library is housed in the original school building and until 1974 was used as the gymnasium. It is now home to:

• over 1,000 non-print materials such as DVDs and videos,
• periodicals and 3 newspaper subscriptions.
• 18 computers in the library for student use – all on the Traf network.
Research resources include databases, encyclopedias, dictionaries, atlases, almanacs, DVDs and videos. The automated catalogue can be searched by title, author, subject and keyword.
