Academic Areas

Steam

We are raising generations of women to enter and excel in the once male-dominated world of STEM – Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. The ‘A’ is for ‘Arts’, making STEAM an innovative way to finally bridge the worlds of science and creativity.

Arts

Trafalgar is committed to encouraging self-expression in many forms. Visual art, drama, and music are just some of the avenues that our girls have at their fingertips to showcase their artistic talents.

Social Sciences

Geography, history, and contemporary world allow us to share impactful stories about real people and real events with our students, preparing them to become citizens of the world.

Language Arts

It is our mission to ensure that Traf students graduate with a firm grasp of both official Canadian languages. Along the way, they also have the chance to learn Spanish and study literature – all of which are essential foundations to communicating in a global context.

Personal Development

Personal Development is, at its core, a forum for discussion and reflection. Students in this course analyze how their local and global environments shape their development and choices, while exploring complex social topics as a point of entry to a well- informed young adulthood.

Mental health, maintaining healthy relationships, sex and sexuality, stress management, and self-esteem are just a few of the conversations that students will encounter. They will also learn the art of growing up: how to cope with the circumstances, milestones, and pressures that accompany increased personal responsibility.
