Downtown Campus

Location, Location, Location

The Golden Square Mile
Perched just above Montreal’s vibrant downtown core, Trafalgar sits on the border of Westmount, one of the city’s safest and coziest boroughs. Our privileged location allows us to draw the best from both worlds: proximity of one of North America’s most culturally revered cities, and the warm, familiar embrace of a residential neighbourhood.

Located a hop, skip, and jump away from multiple bus lines and a short walk from the city centre, Trafalgar’s surroundings provide the perfect stepping stone to independence, inspiration, and empowerment.

Public Transportation

Trafalgar School for Girls’ convenient downtown location allows for easy public transit access from anywhere on the island of Montreal and beyond.

Many students take the metro to the Guy-Concordia station and take a 10-minute walk up Simpson Street to the school. In the winter, some students take the 165 bus up chemin Cote-des-Neiges to Dr. Penfield Avenue and from there, it is a short 5-minute walk to the school.

Students also use commuter trains from either the West Island, South Shore, or Laval. Some students disembark at the Lucien-L'Allier train/metro station downtown and walk 20 minutes to the school. Others choose to disembark at the Vendome train/metro station, take the metro to the Guy-Concordia, and then walk to the school or take the bus to Dr. Penfield Avenue.

For families living in downtown Montreal, the school is also accessible via the 24 bus along Sherbrooke Street followed by a quick walk up Simpson Street.

Afternoon Bus Service to West Island

For students who live on the West Island, Trafalgar participates in the afternoon pick-up of a QAIS combined-school bus service. This mini-bus service picks up students at 5:15 pm and drops students off at various locations in Beaconsfield, Pointe Claire, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, and Kirkland.
