MariMUN
Congratulations to Lexi, Violet and Sofia for participating in the 37th iteration of the Marianopolis Model United Nations Conference (MariMUN). Lexi and Violet, respectively representing Denmark and Sweden in the General Assembly - UNIDO (Sustainable Industrialization and Workers' Rights), advocated for better working conditions in the fashion industry. Meanwhile, Sofia took on the role of Genevan philosopher, Jean-Jacques Rousseau in a specialized agency called The Age of Reason: An Enlightenment Salon. Although it was her first Model United Nations conference, Sofia quickly developed her skills in diplomacy over the course of the weekend and earned herself a certificate and gavel as the recipient of the committee’s Kew Dock Yip Award for Remarkable Determination.
All three students are to be commended for their active involvement in committee sessions and we hope they will continue to shine at future MUN conferences.

Félicitations à Lexi, Violet et Sofia pour leur participation à la 37e édition de MariMUN. Lexi et Violet, représentant respectivement le Danemark et la Suède à l'Assemblée générale - ONUDI (Industrialisation durable et droits des travailleurs), ont plaidé en faveur de meilleures conditions de travail dans l'industrie de la mode. Sofia a quant à elle joué le rôle du philosophe genevois Jean-Jacques Rousseau dans le cadre d'une agence spécialisée intitulée The Age of Reason : Un salon des Lumières. Bien qu'il s'agisse de sa première simulation de conférence des Nations unies, Sofia a rapidement développé ses compétences en diplomatie au cours du week-end et s'est vu décerner un certificat et un maillet en tant que lauréate du prix Kew Dock Yip du comité pour sa détermination remarquable.
Les trois étudiants doivent être félicités pour leur participation active aux sessions du comité et nous espérons qu'ils continueront à briller lors des prochaines conférences MUN.
